It’s been a while since I have done any acting, working with The Feckers, and travelling a lot….it’s kept me pretty busy, so it has been 4 years since the last short film that I got to act in. I had been contemplating working on some film related things this year, and was absolutely thrilled when Alana Hughes sent me a message asking if I would like to come onboard for her project. Once I read her concept I was hooked – and had to be in this – What Alana didn’t realise was that I could relate to her concept more than she could possibly have ever known. I then helped her with the casting – 2 of my friends were only too willing to come onboard as well. Having the chance to collaborate with young creatives who are just starting out on their cinematic path…what a blessing to be able to do that. Talking with Alana and her very talented boyfriend Ben Spies about their projects has reignited a certain spark within. I am sure that our creative paths will definitely cross again, and I would hope that we get to work together on a couple of other things that have been discussed.
